Laboratory Services

The MEnD Laboratory is currently the only facility in Australia to offer concrete petrography (ASTM C856) as part of its NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) ISO 17025 Scope of Accreditation.

Clients can be rest assured that their assets are being investigated by the best in the industry. With the help of ISO 17025, laboratories can prove that they run effectively and produce reliable findings, boosting trust in their work on a national and international level.

Construction Materials Characterisation

Our construction materials characterisation service ensures that the materials you use in your projects meet the required durability and strength criteria. Through thorough testing and analysis of materials such as concrete, asphalt and aggregates, we assess their mechanical properties, durability and suitability for long-term use. Petrography

Petrography is one of the most effective methods used to evaluate building materials. Unlike other techniques, petrographic examination of hardened concrete can determine the root cause of deterioration and identify risk factors that would impact durability of the material.

Chemical testing

X-Ray Diffraction (XRD)
