MEnD Consulting was engaged by AECOM to complete a comprehensive condition assessment for various buildings on three Challenger Tafe sites, leased from the Fremantle Port Authority.

These sites consist of numerous buildings of varying ages and conditions. The buildings ranged from the modern administration and teaching rooms to timber framed warehouses clad in iron. The site data was used to identify and prioritise the required maintenance works over the next 5 years. Budgets were also prepared based on MEnD’s practical experience with conducting building maintenance works.
MEnD engineers developed a specific App to use on smart phones and tablets to capture site data. Once the data was uploaded to the centralised database, reports were generated instantly or exported to other software programs for analysis.
